Hello again, DRAGON QUEST fans!

It’s so crazy that there’s less than a month left until you can get your hands on DRAGON QUEST HEROES-! If you just can’t wait, don’t forget that you should be able to find the demo in PS4 kiosks at Best Buy and GameStop locations all over North America and some EB Game stores in Canada too. I hope you’ve all been able to try it out! If you have, or even if you haven’t, there’s really only one thing left to do, and I think you know what that is. Pre-order! “But why should I pre-order, Kaori?” Good question! The answer is because pre-ordering will get you the Day One Edition of the game, which comes with five wonderful Slime Weapons, with some pretty amazing slime puns! Here’s what you’ll get:

These weapons are a “goo-reat” way to get a head start, with some pretty nice stats, too. The Slime Sword can be used by Luceus, Aurora, and Terry, the Goomerang is for newcomer, Isla, the Gungenir is for Kiryl, the Gooey Gloves are for Alena, and the Squishing Rod is for the mighty King Doric! The Day One Edition gives you a wide variety of cool slimy weapons to play with. The second question you may be wondering is “Kaori, why oh whyyyyyy did you pick these items?” Goo-reat question!!! It’s because you start the game with Luceus, Aurora, Doric, and Isla. And SPOILERS… the first legendary DRAGON QUEST characters that join your party are Alena and Kiryl, so we wanted to reward you with equippable items for the characters you’ll have in the early parts of the game of your DRAGON QUEST HEROES experience - just for pre-ordering! So, you’ll get all that just for pre-ordering, and if you pre-order from the Square Enix Online Store, we’ll also throw in the exclusive DRAGON QUEST III hero costumes for Luceus and Aurora to wear! All that DLC is yours just by buying the game early, but if you’re as much of a slime fanatic as I am, and you hang out with Healix all day, I think you’ll really like the contents of the DRAGON QUEST HEROES Slime Collector’s Edition. In this version, you’ll of course get the five Day One edition Slime Weapons, but we’ll also throw in four MORE Slime Weapons and two additional maps that will lead you to higher chances of getting some alchemy ingredients. Your alchemy pot will thank you! And that’s just the digital content. Enclosed in a premium treasure chest package are some slime-themed goodies for you, including a slime plush, slime lanyard, and slime keychain. Just so you know, I hear that this collector’s edition is selling fast, so you better rush to get that plush! It’s a really nice one, with the DRAGON QUEST HEROES logo stitched on the back and everything. You might be eager to see it with your very own eyes so we’ll prepare an unboxing video soon.
