New Community Manager for Just Cause

Hello World!

Neil Gorton here, or ‘Gortz’ if we are pals, we are pals right?

I’ve joined the Community Management team at Square Enix Europe as CM for Just Cause, which I’m super happy about because it’s one of my favourite gaming franchises EVER.

I first encountered Rico when I was a games journalist, I was tasked with picking out my favourite things about Just Cause 2 from my top vehicles and weapons to writing general gameplay tips and trivia. I got so obsessed with the game that I actually got reprimanded for shoehorning Just Cause 2 into other game reviews (like, all the time!).

I’ve been in community management for a few years now and I’m looking forward to having you all attempt to topple my leader board scores (shout out to the few of you that have already added me on Xbox One and PS4 – yes I’m playing it across both consoles). I’m also really looking forward to being there when you guys discover what else is in the Air, Land & Sea Expansion pass – have you mastered the bavarium jet pack yet?

Hmm what else can I tell you about me? If you’re already following me on Twitter you’ll know I’m forever chasing cheevos and trophies and have been gaming since the days of the Atari ST. I collect board games and comics (I have now run out of room to store them), I’m a huge wrestling mark and am a noted connoisseur of burritos.
