I would love to see the SNES classics remastered in a bundled collection for current platforms. Finest Fantasy for Advance was what got me into the series and it would be great to see Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI get an HD remaster that is faithful to the original versions like Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection did in the PSP. Final Fantasy IV/V/VI in a single bundle remastered in HD is an instant buy for me.
Beautiful games to remember good times but and FFVIII?
No love for FFVIII? :/
these had all better be physical copies! my xbox isnt connected to the internet!
@kaiserdragon38 - i always felt the most iconic ff female was Terra.
Wow no Avatar of Final Fantasy 4 Rydia of mist wow the most iconic female of all times and they don't have her Avatar
I wish they would do a complete remake of Final Fantasy 4 for PlayStation 4 that game I have to say is one of the best I wish Square Enix would do hey completely remastered version of Final Fantasy 4
Chocobo's Dungeon should be bundled with F.F. Tactics, it was such an undervalued, but great game.
I'm still waiting on PS4 ports of Final Fantasies I-VI and VIII
@CantBeSaved - Thanks for the reply, and check out my gaming Twitter account of the same name. I've been petitioning hard for some ports of FFVIII & XIII Trilogy for PS4,XB1, and Switch also a port of Type-0 HD for Nintendo Switch.
im so happy SE is doing this, i still have my playstation version of 7 and my completion save. Idk if if maxima goes back to FF1, but i would love to play those.
I think at this point, we deserve an official explanation from SE as to why FFVIII has been so shafted in current-generation remasters. They do things like release Rinoa as a new playable character in Dissidia NT yet make it as difficult as possible for a new generation of players to experience this specific entry into the main series while its immediate predecessor and successor are not similarly overlooked, even being snubbed in favor of games like Crystal Chronicles which far underperformed VIII commercially. Some justification from the company would be appreciated.
Awesome that people who own the other consoles will be able to experience these games! I really, really hope that WoFFM will be receiving a physical edition on Switch too. Will be looking forward to any other ports/new games that these systems will get.
Hoping X/X-2 will be physical on both Xbox One and Switch, it seems like XII Zodiac Age will be physical on both systems, because of the listings on SE's store, same with World of Final Fantasy Maxima, looking forward to playing these on my Xbox One and/or Switch! Thank you for showing those consoles love Square Enix!
@DrAshFjorde - VII and IX are definitely going to be digital, X/X-2 is a little up in the air to tell right now, hope it'll be physical on Switch
This is fantastic news, but what about Final Fantasy VIII and the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy (with all DLC)?
@KjoDevilHunterS - I agree, please release FFXIII Trilogy Collection. Next year is XIIIs 10 year anniversary.
Please release a physical version of Crystal Chronicles on PS4, it's my fav FF game. I'll buy like 3 more copies if you do, so I can force all my friends to play with me.
Will Final Fantasy VII, IX, X and X2 for the Switch be physical releases or digital?
Please port Final Fantasy Type-0 HD to the Nintendo Switch.
As much as I love this announcement and will definitely preorder all of these the moment they arrive to the store... why are you skipping XB1 for Crystal Chronicles/Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon? I would have definitely gotten those too :(
Please please have these as physical releases (mostly looking at the switch) from both a storage perspective and a physical game collector persepctive.
Please port Final Fantasy XIII trilogy with all DLCs to the PS4,XB1, and Switch.
Please port Final Fantasy VIII with original soundtrack + Chocobo World for PS4&XB1, and Switch
YES! Some quality games coming for my Xbox! Goodbye, bank account!
If they are Xbox physical releases, I'm there day one for all of them. Digital only? I'm in for 7, 9 and 12 when the price is right.
Will they have a hard cover case or digital download only? I want too own the cases!!♡
Any chance XBOX will also get Crystal Chronicles?
Being able to play all of the classics on the XBOX is amazing!!!
