Heaven on High Debuts in Patch 4.35 and Fan Festival Mount Revealed

FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood Patch 4.35 released earlier this month, and with it came the debut of the latest Deep Dungeon, Heaven-on-High. Adventurers can make their way through a 100-floor dungeon that increases difficulty with each level. Heaven-on-High also features a revamped leveling system specific to the Deep Dungeon in addition to rewards that are exclusive to players who reach the highest floor.

Patch 4.35 features the latest questline in the adventures of Hildibrand where the crimes of the Wolf Burglar in the Far East are under investigation by the Inspector Extraordinaire.

This patch also introduces new emotes, minions, a mount, and hairstyles to Final Fantasy XIV Online. One of the new featured hairstyles includes a runner-up design from the Hairstyle Design Contest.

This month also marks the start of The Feast Regional Championship 2018 preliminaries. The Feast Regional Championship North America runs from July 3rd, 2018 to August 13th, 2018. It is an official series of PVP tournaments held in North America, Europe, and Japan.

Regional winners of The Feast Regional Championship 2018 the will advance to the online semifinals, which are streamed and hosted by Square Enix. The Feast Regional Championship 2018 will also help determine the teams who will participate in the North American finals held at the Fan Festival 2018 in Las Vegas.

SDS Fenrir Mount

Fans excited about the upcoming FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Fan Festivals will be excited for a few updates:

  • The entire event except for concerts will be live streamed for free, for all regions.
  • Attendees of Fan Festival 2018 in Las Vegas will receive a special Fan Festival mount: the SDS Fenrir.
  • Attendees of each Fan Festival event will receive an in-game minion to each event. Specific details will be announced at a later date.
  • For fans not attending, these items will be available for purchase on Mog Station at a later date.
