GEX: Deep Cover Gecko out now on PlayStation Network

By Square Enix Team

GEX: Deep Cover Gecko, one of the best selling PlayStation games of 1999, is now available to download from the PlayStation Store to play on both PS3 and PSP. This is the definitive version of the game, featuring the voice of Danny John-Jules (Cat from Red Dwarf) and full FMV sequences that weren't included in the N64 version.

The game is full of pop culture references (circa 1999) and irreverent secret agent humour, which could make playing it a bit of a nostalgia trip, even if it's your first time. It's also a great way of seeing what sort of thing Crystal Dynamics got up to that doesn't end in "omb raider".

You can find a few screenshots below so that you know what to expect. In short: colourful, old school 2D adventure platforming. Everything the PSOne did best.
