FFV Android out now & FFIV: The After Years announced!

By Square Enix Team

WARNING: Readers should prepare for the coming of Enuo… because Final Fantasy V is now available on Android devices! Available in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish languages, fans can pick up the game today from the Google Play Store, priced £10.99/€14.99.

In celebration of today’s Android launch for FFV, Final Fantasy IV was on sale last week; but now we’re excited to announce that Final Fantasy IV: The After Years will be coming to iOS and Android devices in Winter 2013 (or Summer, if you’re from Australia and New Zealand!)

Originally released for Wii and PSP in 2008, the game has undergone a full 3D remake with completely recreated graphics that deliver this fan favourite like you’ve never seen before. Don’t take my word for it though, check out the trailer below:

A direct sequel to Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy IV: The After Years is set a dozen years later than its predecessor. Several characters from the first game (not naming names for those yet to play FFIV) make a comeback in FFIV: The After Years, as well as a new central character.
