DRAGON QUEST HEROES - Social Diary # 9 (Trophies and Screenshot Contest)
Hi Guys,
It’s been a few weeks since DRAGON QUEST HEROES: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below has launched in NA and EU and so far we’re hearing Healix hoorays from those who are enjoying the game. So how has your experience been so far? By this point you may have already zipped through some really cool parts! If you’re a serious player, I bet you are excited to unlock at the fun trophies. I know for a fact that watching all the people defeat Gigantes at the various shows like San Diego Comic-Con, PAX Prime and New York Comic Con, most are going to say that Gigantes is “easy peezy” and earn the “Messiah of Courtluda” trophy right away by slaying Gigantes in the town! Just a few weeks ago in New York 145 very tough players’ slayed Gigantes before our very own eyes – were you one of them? Some got so good at it, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were able to beat it with only one eye open!
Other fun trophies include “Best of the Best”, a Gold trophy that can be obtained when all party members hit level 50. Who wouldn’t want that shiny Gold Symbol? Participate in Weekend Events to get more EXP!
If you love that slime smile, you can get the “Monster Hunter” trophy by slaying all monsters in the game!
Out of the 50 trophies, there is one in particular that everyone who wants to completely master the game has their eyes on. This is the Platinum trophy called “Living Legend”. It even features everyone’s favorite Healix!
So are you pumped to start playing to collect all trophies? To get you excited even more, here are some screen grabs from the game that highlight how colorful the game is. Below, Aurora stands like a boss in any given situation. If you rather play as Luceus or any of the other heroes like adorable Nera, you have a supreme roster that highlights characters from the previous DRAGON QUEST favorites.
You will come across so many moments of the game where you just want to snap a photo of the screen to save that moment of pure monster destruction—and to that point YOU CAN! In fact, your screenshot capturing skills will be rewarded!

We’re asking the fans to take a screen capture of an in-game scene via PlayStation 4 screenshot capture button, share the image on your Facebook channel with the hashtag #“#SlimeyWhimeyPictureTimey”. To enter the contest, you must send the image of your shot to DragonQuestFans@us.square-enix.com with the subject line, “#SlimeyWhimeyPictureTimey”. We will be collecting the shots to send to the development team in Japan to pick out their favorite images!
