OFFICIAL RULES (THE “PROMOTION”)

KEY RULES

A. Official Rules: The Official Rules for this Promotion consist of both (i) these key rules summarising the important rules for participating in the Promotion (the “Key Rules”) and (ii) the Additional Promotion Official Rules (“Additional Rules”) applicable to your place of legal residence. Please review the Additional Rules at the following URL:

B. Territories: This Promotion is open only to individuals who are legal residents and physically and permanently located in one of the following countries/territories at the date and time of entry (the “Promotion Jurisdiction”):

• The fifty (50) states of the United States of America, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
• Canada (excluding Quebec).
• The United Kingdom (excluding the British Overseas Territories).
• Germany, France (excluding Overseas France).

C. Age Limit: This Promotion is open only to individuals 18 years of age or older, and who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, at the date and time of entry.

D. Entry Period: You may enter the Promotion only between 13 June 2024 at 4:00 PM (BST) and 25 June 2024 at 7:59 AM (BST) (the “Entry Period”).

E. Entry Procedure and Limitations: In order to enter the Promotion, you must complete the following steps during Entry Period (each an “Entry Action”):

• Visit the Promotion page at [KHonSteam.com] (the “KH Gleam.io Page”) and complete at least one (1) or more entry methods listed on the KH Gleam.io Page and below (the “Entry Methods”):

  • i. Answer the ‘Tutorial’ question (1 of 3) via the KH Gleam.io Page.
  • ii. Answer the ‘Tutorial’ question (2 of 3) via the KH Gleam.io Page.
  • iii. Answer the ‘Tutorial’ question (3 of 3) via the KH Gleam.io Page.
  • iv. Visit the KH Gleam.io page and click the applicable ‘Enlightenment’ button (“Enlightenment Bonus Action”). You must complete at least three (3) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • v. Answer the ‘Fan Preference’ question (1 of 6) via the KH Gleam.io Page. You must complete at least four (4) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • vi. Using a URL that will be provided, have up to two hundred (200) eligible individuals enter the Promotion (“My Friends Are My Power URL Action”). In order for your My Friends Are My Power URL Action to count as an Entry, the individual you sent the URL to must perform at least one (1) Entry Method. Each individual that you send an URL to and performs at least one (1) Entry Method will count as one (1) Entry Action for you, up to two hundred (200) total Entry Actions via the My Friends Are My Power URL Action. If you are posting the My Friends Are My Power URL Action on your social media pages, you must comply with all applicable social media platform terms and conditions. The My Friends Are My Power URL Action can be completed up to two hundred (200) times. You must complete at least four (4) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • vii. Watch the KINGDOM HEARTS - Steam Announce Trailer on the Kingdom Hearts YouTube channel and answer the question, or input a code found within the trailer or on the trailer page, as specified on the KH Gleam.io Page (“A Look Over the Years Action”). You must complete at least four (4) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • viii. Answer the ‘Gamer Style’ question [What Do You Prefer (1 of 4)] via the KH Gleam.io Page. You must complete at least five (5) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • ix. Visit the KH Gleam.io page and click the applicable ‘daily bonus’ button (“Daily Bonus (1 of 2)”). You must complete at least six (6) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • x. #KHonSteam Contest Entry
    • Create a post on your X, Instagram, or TikTok account (accounts are available for free) (the “Contest Post”). Your Contest Post must follow and address at least one (1) of the following prompts: (i) “What is your favorite memory from Kingdom Hearts [e.g., favorite scene, soundtrack, character, etc.]; (ii) How did you start your Kingdom Hearts journey [e.g., which game did you first play, on which console, etc.]; or (iii) Why do you like Kingdom Hearts?
    • Your Contest Post can be purely text-based, a static image, and/or a video.
    • You must include the hashtags #KHonSteam and #Contest in your Contest Post.
    • You must post a link to your Contest Post in the Gleam action.
    • If your Contest Post is decided to be a winner, you will need to confirm your account details.
    • You will have two tries to submit, as you can submit again within one week from your original posting date (but before the Entry Period ends).
    • Your Contest Post will count as a separate Entry for both the #KHonSteam Contest, and as a separate Entry Action for the sweepstakes/prize draw prizes.
  • xi. Redeem one hundred fifty (150) Square Enix Channel Twitch points to complete this action. You can accumulate Square Enix Channel Twitch points by watching livestreams on Square Enix’s official Twitch channel. Twitch accounts are available for free.
  • xii. Redeem three hundred (300) Square Enix Channel Twitch points to complete this action. You can accumulate Square Enix Channel Twitch points by watching livestreams on Square Enix’s official Twitch channel. Twitch accounts are available for free.
  • xiii. Answer the ‘Fan Preference’ question (2 of 6) via the KH Gleam.io Page. You must complete at least four (4) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xiv. Wish list a copy of either KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 FINAL CHAPTER PROLOGUE, KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC), or KINGDOM HEARTS INTEGRUM MASTERPIECE (“Wishlist on Steam”). Please provide proof in the form of your username as it may be necessary to verify that this action has been completed. You must complete at least six (6) Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xv. Listen to Hikaru Utada on Spotify. You must complete at least four (4) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xvi. Answer the ‘Fan Preference’ question (3 of 6) via the KH Gleam.io Page. You must complete at least seven (7) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xvii. Follow the official Square Enix Twitch Channel on your Twitch account (Twitch accounts are available for free).
  • xviii. Visit HIGROUND’s website. This can be completed daily during the Entry Period. You must complete at least seven (7) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xix. Answer the ‘Gamer Style’ question [What Do You Prefer (2 of 4)] via the KH Gleam.io Page. You must complete at least nine (9) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xx. Visit the KH Gleam.io page and click the applicable ‘Dedication’ button (“Dedication Bonus Action”). You must complete at least ten (10) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xxi. Answer the ‘Fan Preference’ question (4 of 6) via the KH Gleam.io Page. You must complete at least eleven (11) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xxii. Retweet the Promotion Tweet from your X (formerly Twitter) account (X accounts are available for free) through the KH Gleam.io Page, including the hashtag #Sweepstakes in your retweet.
  • xxiii. Follow the KINGDOM HEARTS Twitter page on your Twitter account (Twitter accounts are available for free).
  • xxiv. Answer the ‘Fan Preference’ question (5 of 6) via the KH Gleam.io Page. You must complete at least eleven (11) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xxv. Answer the ‘Gamer Style’ question [What Do You Prefer (3 of 4)] via the KH Gleam.io Page. You must complete at least twelve (12) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xxvi. Visit the KH Gleam.io page and click the second applicable ‘daily bonus’ button (“Daily Bonus (2 of 2)”). You must complete at least thirteen (13) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xxvii. Follow Hikaru Utada on Spotify
  • xxviii. Join Milan Records Discord server (Discord accounts are available for free).
  • xxix. Follow the HiGrounds Twitter page on your Twitter account (Twitter accounts are available for free).
  • xxx. If you’ve participated in a previous Square Enix promotion through Gleam.io, you can redeem points for each promotion you participated in (up to three [3]) (“Claim SQEX Loyalty Bonus”). You must complete at least fourteen (14) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xxxi. Answer the ‘Fan Preference’ question (6 of 6) on the KH Gleam.io Page. You must complete at least fifteen (15) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xxxii. Answer the ‘Gamer Style’ question [What Do You Prefer (4 of 4)] via the KH Gleam.io Page. You must complete at least sixteen (16) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xxxiii. Visit the KH Gleam.io page and click the applicable ‘Key Blade Master’ button (“Key Blade Master”). You must complete at least twenty (20) other Entry Actions before you can complete this action.
  • xxxiv. Complete the action as specified on the KH Gleam.io Page.

• Please review the KH Gleam.io Page for more information on how many entries each Entry Method is worth (the “Entries”).

F. Winner Selection: The Sponsor (listed below), or Sponsor’s designee, shall select a minimum of six (6) winners, up to seven (7) winners total*, from among all Entries using the following methodology:

General Drawing: Sponsor or Sponsor’s designee shall select winners through a random drawing from among all Entries.

Key Bearer Drawing: Sponsor or Sponsor’s designee shall select the winner through a random and separate drawing from among all participants who each have at least sixty (60) Entries.

#KHonSteam Contest: Sponsor shall select winners based on the (i) relevance of the post, (ii) creativity of the Contest Post, (iii) originality of the Contest Post.

1st Place Prize: Sponsor shall select winners based on the participant with the highest number of personal Entries. If more than one (1) participant has obtained the maximum number of Entries, then the first participant to obtain the maximum number of Entries shall be the 1st Place Prize winner.

*The ultimate number of winners depends on the total number of Entries. There will be at least six (6) winners, three (3) from the General Drawing, one (1) from the Key Bearer Status Drawing, one (1) from the #KHonSteam Contest, and one (1) for the 1st place prize. If the Promotion crosses 150,000 Entries, 300,000 Entries, and 600,000 Entries overall (each an “Entry Threshold”), one (1) additional prize, one (1) Steam Deck OLED, will be awarded to the applicable runner-up winner from the General Drawing, per each Entry Threshold reached, up to three (3) Steam Decks OLED. If the Promotion crosses 1,000,000 Entries, one additional winner will be selected for the #KHonSteam Contest.

**There are a limited quantities of the Kingdom Hearts merchandise items and HIGROUND items, one of each, and each of these prizes are awarded on a first come first served basis. The order of the winners (as described above) determines the order in which winners have an opportunity to select prizes first. For example, the 1st Place Prize winner has the first opportunity to select a HIGROUND item and Kingdom Hearts merchandise item – if the 1st Place Prize winner selects (by way of example only) the “One (1) Keyboard from the Crystal Collection” and the “One (1) KINGDOM HEARTS III PLAY ARTS KAI ACTION FIGURE - SORA VER. 2”, those prizes would not be available to the next winner in line.

H. Winner Notification: Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, will notify winner(s) by or before 30 September 2024 via email.

I. User Generated Content (UGC) Terms:

• Ownership and Rights: Each entrants represents and warrants they are the sole and exclusive owner of the UGC (user-generated content) submitted or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to use and authorize SQUARE ENIX (SQEX) and Disney, as applicable, to use the UGC as described herein.
• Indemnification: In addition to the Additional Rules, the entrant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Disney, SQEX, and other releasees identified by Disney from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from any breach of these representations and warranties or in relation to the entrant’s UGC, including but not limited to claims of copyright, trademark infringement, or violation of the right of publicity.
• Licensing: In addition to the Additional Rules, the entrant grants SQEX and, when applicable, Disney, a non-exclusive, universal, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, display, and perform the UGC in any media formats and through any media channels now known or hereafter developed, throughout the universe.
• Compensation: The entrant acknowledges that they shall not receive any compensation from SQEX or Disney for the use of the UGC beyond the opportunity to win a prize in this promotion and that there is no obligation on SQEX or Disney to make use of any of the rights granted herein.

J. Sponsor: The sponsor of this Promotion is Square Enix, Inc. This is not sponsored, endorsed, administer by, or associated with DISNEY.

K. Other Details:

• The #KHonSteam Contest Entries count toward the overall Entries for the promotion, for purposes of calculating the Entry Thresholds.
• Disney and Square Enix employees are exempt from winning any prizes in this competition.
• In addition to the Additional Rules, by participating in this promotion, entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless DISNEY and its parent, affiliated, and subsidiary companies, as well as its and their officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising out of participation in the sweepstakes or the receipt or use of any prize awarded hereunder. Furthermore, entrants agree to indemnify, defend, and hold the Released Parties harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising from or in any way connected with their participation in this sweepstakes or their violation of the terms and conditions of this sweepstakes.
