OFFICIAL RULES (THE “PROMOTION”)

KEY RULES

A. Official Rules: The Official Rules for this Promotion consist of both (i) these key rules summarising the important rules for participating in the Promotion (the "Key Rules”) and (ii) the Additional Promotion Official Rules ("Additional Rules”) applicable to your place of legal residence. Please review the Additional Rules at the following URL:

• For legal residents of any Promotion Jurisdiction (defined below) located in North America (including Hawaii), South America, or the Caribbean: https://square-enix-games.com/en_US/documents/promotion-additional-rules.
• For legal residents of any Promotion Jurisdiction located in Europe, Africa, Asia, or Oceania (including Australia): https://square-enix-games.com/en_GB/documents/promotion-additional-rules.

B. Territories: This Promotion is open only to individuals who are legal residents and physically and permanently located in one of the following countries/territories at the date and time of entry (the "Promotion Jurisdiction”) and who make a qualifying purchase as detailed in Section E. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, the Promotion is void where prohibited by law.

• The fifty (50) states of the United States of America, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico; Canada (excluding Quebec); and Mexico.
• Europe, excluding the Russian Federation.

C. Age Limit: This Promotion is open only to individuals 10 years of age or older, at the date and time of entry. Nothing in the foregoing waives or overrides other applicable age requirements mandated by law or store policy.

D. Claim Period: The Promotion is open between 8 August 2025 starting at 8PM BST through 8 September 2025 ending at 3AM BST (the "Claim Period”).

E. Claim Procedure and Limitations: You may avail of the Promotion as follows:

• Pop-up Redemption:
  • Any purchase made at the Los Angeles Square Enix Pop-up Shop (Akiba Pop-Up & Live 319 E. 2nd Street, #122 Los Angeles, CA 90012) during the Claim Period entitles the purchaser to receive an exclusive DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake postcard.
  • The postcard shall contain a QR code directing the purchaser to a portal in which they must sign in to their Square Enix Members account.
  • Once logged in, the purchaser can sign up to receive a code (the "Code”) for a downloadable Essential Items Pack for use in DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake (the "DLC”).
  • Square Enix will reach out to eligible Claimants to confirm the platform through which they would like to redeem the Code.
  • Platforms available for Pop-up Shop customers are: Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
  • NOTE: DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake is required to redeem and download the DLC.
    
• Square Enix E-Store Redemption:
  • Any purchase of DRAGON QUEST merchandise from the Square Enix E-Store during the Claim Period entitles the user to receive the downloadable Essential Items Pack for use in DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake.
  • Square Enix will reach out to eligible Claimants to confirm the platform through which they would like to redeem the Code.
  • Platforms available for Square Enix E-store customers are: Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
  • NOTE: The Steam DLC code is not available for E-Store claimants. Pre-Orders of DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake and purchases of physical copies of DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake are not eligible to receive the Code. DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2 Remake is required to redeem and download the DLC.

F. Prize(s): Each claimant shall receive a downloadable Essential Items Pack that includes:

• i. Beginner Battler Kit
  • One iron lance
  • Two phials of Oomph powder
    
• ii. Bona Fide Battle Kit
  • One boomerang
  • One dragon scale

Items are not exclusive to the Promotion and are obtainable in-game.

G. Sponsor: The sponsor of this Promotion is Square Enix, Inc.

By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound and abide by these Key Rules and the Additional Rules applicable to your place of legal residence, and you represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements to enter the Promotion.
