FANTASIAN Neo Dimension launches December 5, 2024!

The new RPG from the creator of the FINAL FANTASY series launches this winter for Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam! Here’s everything you need to know:

Let’s start with the big news: FANTASIAN Neo Dimension is coming to PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on… (dramatic drum roll please) December 5, 2024! What’s more, the game is available to preorder now:

The news was delivered by the game’s producer, and FINAL FANTASY series creator, Hironobu Sakaguchi during the PlayStation State of Play September 2024 Livestream.

What is FANTASIAN Neo Dimension?

FANTASIAN Neo Dimension is a new RPG, written and produced by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of the FINAL FANTASY series. It also features music from Nobuo Uematsu - the legendary composer for the FINAL FANTASY series.

It’s an impressive pedigree, and the game lives up to it - expect a beautiful RPG full of interesting characters, compelling turn-based combat and stunning scenery. And with absolutely fantastic music, naturally.

The story focuses on Leo - a young man who wakes up in a strange land following a massive explosion. Even more distressingly, his memories almost entirely gone - just one remains. Guided by this last remaining shred of his past, Leo sets out on a journey to reclaim what he has lost and unravel the mysteries of a bizarre mechanical infection that corrupts all it touches.

Along the way, he’ll recruit a quirky and memorable group of allies, and explore stunningly detailed environments based on physical hand-crafted dioramas. You’ll also take on foes in thrillingly tactical turn-based battles.

By taking advantage of the trajectory of attacks as well as physical and elemental weaknesses, you can take out multiple enemies at once. Paired with the handy Dimengeon System which stores away previously encountered enemies to battle at a later time, the game’s combat system results in large-scale battles that feel oh-so satisfying to complete!

While FANTASIAN released for Apple Arcade in 2021, this new edition of the game adds brand-new features, including English and Japanese voiceovers, an additional difficulty option and 4K support on the PS5, Xbox Series X and PC versions.

That all sounds pretty good right, but it also begs the question: when and how can you get it?

How can you get FANTASIAN Neo Dimension?

FANTASIAN Neo Dimension launches December 5, 2024. It will be available physically and digitally on Nintendo Switch and PS5.

It will also be available digitally on PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.

Players who pre-order the game will receive an in-game bonus item, the Vibran Secret Stone*. This handy tool provides an experience boost to any character when equipped, allowing you to level up faster.

*The in-game item, Vibran Secret Stone, for physical copies of the game will expire after 11:59 on December 31, 2034. Please be sure to use the item before this date.

*An internet connection is required to receive the in-game item.

*The in-game item, Vibran Secret Stone, will be automatically added in the “Equipment” menu once you start the game.
