This awesome RPG sends you on a quest to build a menagerie of monsters, take on all comers at the Maulosseum and become the Master of Monsterkind. It’s a quest that will take you through a vibrant world of humans and demons, where the land itself changes with the seasons.

What is DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Dark Prince?
Originally released for Nintendo Switch on 1 December 2023, DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Dark Prince has made its way to new platforms - and a whole new audience of players!
You take the role of Psaro, the titular Dark Prince. Betrayed and cursed by his father, the current Master of Monsterkind, this bold young man is unable to harm anything with monster blood.
So how is a wronged Prince to seek revenge? By getting other monsters to do the job for him, of course!
The search for monsters will take you through the world of Nadira, a land full of unique environments, from mysterious ruins to bubbling rivers of lava. These lands are not static - they change with the seasons. A small shrub in spring can grow to a climbable vine in Summer, a fast-flowing river in Autumn can become an iced-over path to explore in Winter.
And new seasons means new monsters!
Psaro can build his army by scouting monsters from the wild and creating new monsters through synthesis. By combining two monsters, you can create a new, even more powerful creation. With inherited traits and a dizzying number of combinations, the possibilities are near-endless.

The Steam version of DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Dark Prince includes support for higher resolutions. In addition, all previously released DLC is included as standard.

The Mole Hole - explore a special dungeon that allows you to scout monsters that you’ve befriended before.
Coach Joe’s Dungeon Gym - feel the burn in this randomly generated dungeon that changes each time you enter.
Treasure Trunks - this mysterious, mythical chest contains some useful items– and can be opened once an hour.
