Dragon Quest Heroes Release Date & Collector’s Edition!

In case you missed the news last week, we announced the release date of Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below and both the Collector’s Edition and Day One Edition of the game!

Here are the dates you want to mark in your diary:

NA release date: October 13th, 2015 

EU (PAL) release date: October 16th, 2015

We also released a brand new trailer to give you guys a first look at the game in English so let’s take a look at that!

That was pretty awesome right? Well let’s take a look at the Collector’s and Day One Editions!

The Slime Collector’s Edition

Ta-dah!

This is what we’re calling the “Slime Collector’s Edition”! Below is a quick reference list for everything that comes inside:

• Collectible Treasure Chest- 12cm Slime Plush- Slime Keychain- Multi-slime lanyard- 11 in game items!<ul><li>Gooey Gloves- Goomerang- Splat O’Nine Tails- Squishing Rod- Slime-On-A-Stick- Gooreat Sword- Gungenir- Slime Sword- Goopid’s Bow- Gold-Digger’s Map- Happy Map If you haven’t guessed already, the Dragon Quest team’s love for puns is still present as ever in Dragon Quest Heroes! I hope you’ll agree that this Slime CE is pretty awesome! The Treasure Chest is pretty solid too and big enough for you to store other stuff in there too.

One thing to note though is that the Slime Collector’s Edition is exclusive to the Square Enix Store so you will not be able to get it via your local retailer. If you like what you see though, you can pre-order it via the links below:

So next up is the Day One Edition

The Day One Edition:

Obviously the Day One Edition comes with the full game but it also comes with five in game items as well:

• Slime Sword- Goomerang- Gungenir- Gooey Gloves- Squishing Rod You might notice that these items also come in the Slime Collector’s Edition as well so if you get that edition of the game, you won’t be missing out on any in game items.

The Day One Edition of the game should be available to pre-order from all retailers who are stocking the game but please double check with them to make sure. At the very least you can pre-order it from the Square Enix Store via the links below:

So there’s also just one other thing to mention – Pre-order exclusive costumes from the Square Enix Store!

That’s right, if you pre-order either the Slime Collector’s Edition or Day One Edition from the Square Enix Store you will get an exclusive costume for the two lead characters Luceus and Aurora completely free. The costumes you can see in the image above and they are based on the costume worn by the hero of Dragon Quest III which is one of the most popular Dragon Quest games in Japan, in case you were wondering why the Dragon Quest III costume was picked. It looks like you would feel stronger just by putting it on, doesn’t it?!
