Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age has been out just a little over a week, and it's already a fan favourite!

Recently the Dragon Quest Community Team hopped over to Japan, taking fan questions to Yuji Hori himself! Check out this special summer interview with Yuji Hori and Dragon Quest Community Manager, Samantha Laabs:

For fans who haven't yet packed up and joined the Luminary for his epic adventure in Dragon Quest XI, there's no time like the present. Fans can pick up their copy of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is available on the Square Enix Store!

Fans who make eligible purchases of Dragon Quest XI including pre-orders, on the Square Enix North America Store on or before September 16, 2018 will also automatically be entered into the Dragon Quest Sweepstakes for a Slim 1TB PlayStation 4 console.

Developed with the intention of eliminating the need for post-game DLC, DRAGON QUEST XI provides a complete gaming experience right out of the box. The Western release of DRAGON QUEST XI delivers new content including several upgrades and enhancements not included in the original Japanese release:

  • English Voiceover
  • Draconian Quest, hard mode for experienced players that offers additional challenges.
  • Overhauled Menus & UI for more intuitive navigation with graphical enhancements.
  • Camera Mode, allowing players to take in views of the beautiful landscape, character renders and ferocious monsters in detail.
  • Dash Function and many other system enhancements, such as improved character and camera movement

As a bonus, all fans who purchase the game will receive the Trodain Bandana and Trodain Togs from DRAGON QUEST VIII: Journey of the Cursed King in their inventories at the start of the game.
