About FINAL FANTASY VIII Remastered

FINAL FANTASY VIII tells an epic story of war, betrayal and love, in a world plunged into disarray by conflict. The powerful nation of Galbadia has formed an alliance with the Sorceress Edea. It’s goal - nothing less than world conquest.

As the world fall into chaos, a team of young mercenaries - led by the Squall Leonhart - are dispatched into action. Squall’s a loner by nature, but when he meets the passionate and free-spirited Rinoa Heartilly, his outlook begins to change.

FINAL FANTASY VIII Remastered updates the original game for a new generation. It features enhanced character models, as well as a range of boosters, such as the ability to speed up time or turn off random encounters.

It’s available now on the following platforms:

You can go behind the scenes of other classic Square Enix games, including FINAL FANTASY VII, FINAL FANTASY IX and FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE by viewing the rest of the ‘Inside’ documentary series:

To think I actually wasted money preordering this half finished I wouldnt even call it a remaster more a reskin for half the characters and an audio change from the original horrid PC MIDI sound to the PSX audio. Not Impressed at all...

But you've done a terrible job! Absolute trash! How in the hell does updating only half of the character models make this a remaster? Also Ward somehow has his facial scar way before he even gets it (laguna meets Julia), triple triad board is pixelated to crap and half the card quest people are just blurry blobs of pixels that you wouldn't even know were even a person unless you already knew.
